In the context of the development of the Portuguese Competition Authority’s website, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 (AA compliance level), of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), were duly considered. These include a set of recommendations to make the contents of the AdC’s website more accessible to users with disabilities (blindness, deafness, cognitive limitations and photosensitivity, among others).
The use of the accessibility symbol on the AdC’s website indicates the commitment to making accessible content available for all, pursuant to the Resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 97/99 about accessibility in public administration on the Internet by citizens with special needs.
