On 24 August 2022, the Board of Directors of the Competition Authority, in the exercise of the powers conferred on it by subparagraph d) of paragraph 1 of article 19 of the Articles of Association, approved by Decree-Law no. /2014, of 18 August, adopts a decision of inapplicability, under the terms of subparagraph a) of paragraph 1 of article 50 of the Competition Law, since the notified operation does not constitute a concentration of companies, not resulting a change of control over a pre-existing economic activity, within the meaning of paragraph 1 of article 36, therefore it is not covered by the obligation of prior notification referred to in article 37 of the Competition Law.
