Nuno Cunha Rodrigues discussed the importance of competition in public procurement. The professor of the University of Lisbon’s School of Law highlighted the AdC’s role in the promotion of good practices by procurement agencies and the importance of the recently granted access to the national public procurement database for detecting bid-rigging.
