Miguel de la Mano headed the Economic Analysis and Evaluation unit in the DG Internal Market of the European Commission, was Deputy Chief Economist in DG Comp and Acting Chief Economist in the UK Competition Commission. Over the past 17 years, he has participated in the investigation of numerous merger and restrictive practices cases and has written several articles on EU competition policy and the regulation of financial markets.
