“Leniency in fighting cartels – examples from CADE” was the topic of the AdC Open Seminar with Alexandre Barreto de Souza.
Alexandre Barreto de Souza, President of the Brazilian Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE), holds a master degree in management, a specialisation in public management and a bachelor degree in management from the University of Brasília. He previously directed the area responsible for the control over public bids and contracts for all public administration between 2013 and 2014, with experience in the areas of procedural reform, fraud prevention and prevention of bid-rigging.
