"It is critical to ensure that competition policy plays a central role in the implementation of the recovery strategy. Competition, as a driver of productivity and innovation, it can work as a catalyzer on the economic recovery. It is therefore important to ensure that recovery measures do not inadvertently distort the conditions of competition in the markets," stated the AdC's president during a hearing of the Budget and Finance Committee of the Portuguese Parliament.
