The AdC achieved, for the first time, a 4-star rating (“Very Good”) in the Rating Enforcement of the Global Competition Review.


The ranking places the AdC amongst the 8 best competition agencies around the globe.


GCR highlights that “Portugal’s Competition Authority (AdC) has grown into one of Europe’s most mature antitrust enforcers” and its activity “keeps it close to the heart of Portuguese consumers”.


GCR is a specialized publication that annually rates the performance of the main competition agencies worldwide, on the basis of information provided by the agencies themselves and the opinions of external observers linked to competition.
