Energy Markets in focus at open seminar by Natalia Fabra

​The next AdC open seminar will take place on 8 February, at 5pm, in the Abel Mateus Competition Library at the AdC’s premises (Lisbon, Avenida de Berna 19, 1st floor). Our guest speaker, Natalia Fabra, specialised in Industrial Organization, mainly in matters of regulation and competition in electricity markets will be speaking about “The Rise of Renewables and Competition in Electricity Markets”.
Natalia Fabra is an Associate Professor at the Economics Department of Carlos III University in Madrid, Guest Professor at the Barcelona GSE in the Masters program on Competition and Market Regulation since 2007, and a Visiting Scholar in the Economics Department, Northwestern University, since 2016. As for her academic background, she completed her PhD at the European University Institute of Florence and a post-doctoral programme at IDEI from the University of Toulouse. Among other distinctions, Natalia was awarded the Sabadell-Herrero Prize for Best Young Spanish Economist in 2014.
