Jacques Crémer – "Digitisation challenges for competition policy"

 

For the next Open Seminar, the AdC will welcome Jacques Crémer, PhD MIT, Director of the Jean-Jacques Laffont Chair on the Digital Economy at the Toulouse School of Economics and former Research Director at the CNRS and Director of the Institut d’Economie Industrielle (IDEI). From April 2018 through March 2019, he was Special Advisor to Commissioner Margrethe Vestager, on digitisation challenges to Competition Policy and co-author, with  Heike  Schweitzer and Yves-Alexandre de Montjoye, of the report "Competition policy for the digital era".

The seminar on the topic of "Digitisation challenges for competition policy” will take place on Thursday, November 21, at 5pm in the Abel Mateus Competition Library at the AdC (Avenida de Berna 19, 1st floor).
